I NEED HELP Projekt Revo

10.2k emptybox  7.4 years ago

Please help me! the problem with this projekt is that somehow the car doesnt stay straight and she suspension compresses more on the right side. so it seems that the COM isnt in the middle on the X- Axis BUT IT IS. I mirrored the vehicle several times and removed nearly everything to search the origin of the problem but i didn find it. i discovered that when i add more weight it gets worse with less weight it gets better. so if you dont see the problem at the first sight than add some weight. I would be so happy if you could solve this problem because i spent hours on building this thing and i already made a body wich i will add later if it works. Thanks ´´

    @emptybox shocks get weird when they are rescaled

    that could be.. but the fuselages are pretty light. I think that wouldn't have such an impact and the COM is still in the middle so I think if it had something to do with left right weight balance than the COM would not be centered

    @emptybox do you think in all your times mirroring it. that maybe a few parts got stacked on top of each other on the one side? I've had weirder things happen,.

    I only scaled the engine and the shocks. I also made the shocks very light so they might not have an impact on this problem and with the engine removed the problem is still there but it's a little bit better.on my other creations I use these shocks and every thing is fine .Thanks for your help :)
    @AnonyMoose
    I also removed the shocks and the friction of the mechanism seems to be symmetrical. I will try to put in standard sized shocks and see if that works. Also I think even if it's a bug it's origin must be in one of the parts so it must be removable. Thanks for your help :)

    It may be because the suspension part does not push perfectly evenly.. A mistake on the developers' half, that is the only explanation I have, as everything has been made perfectly. Nice build, and I love the suspension mechanism!

    I think it may have something to do with part scaling which I see you are infant doing. I don't know for sure but that's a likely reason.
