About Airbus A300-600RF of FeatherFed
As ETOPS is required, FeatherFed finally have an idea to order Airbus A300 and A310. Also A300 and A310 have larger cargo than Boeing 727 which is make Featherfed really interested with. The first A300 of FeatherFed delivered in March 1995 with the registration: N361FF (Aircraft Name: Quasimodo, this airframe is still active as of 2025)
All Freighter are mixed either pure bought by airbus or bought from converted passenger A300. This is also make A300-600RF is largest FeatherFed fleet beside MD-11F
Between 1995 to 2005, over 66 Airbus A300-600RF are being delivered. As of 2025, only 33 A300-600RF still in operation. Most of older airframe are stored in Roswell, New Mexico with 3 airframes has been scrapped. All A300-600RF of FeatherFed will be replaced by Boeing 767-300F
