Blériot XI

20.2k MAINE  5.0 years ago

There were many variations of this aircraft. So, choosing an exact model to go from was a pick and choose what I liked kind of thing.
My idea came from a diecast model I bought for less than a dollar at the thrift store and come to find out it is worth $59!. 1:72 scale

The Blériot XI is a French aircraft of the pioneer era of aviation. The first example was used by Louis Blériot to make the first flight across the English Channel in a heavier-than-air aircraft, on 25 July 1909.

Top speed: 47 mph (My design goes a little faster)
Length: 25'
First flight: January 23, 1909
Engine type: Anzani
Manufacturer: Blériot Aéronautique
Designer: Louis Blériot
