Ghoul

Desing History

The F-28 is a 5th Generation twin-engine single-seat air superiority fighter designed and manufactured by Republic Armament Systems.

The F-28 Prototype was one of the 3 participants of the TASP (Tactical Air Superiority Program) Project initiated by M.oD

The TASP Program was launched in 1985, just 1 year after the CA-9, which was developed by ARAF (Atrassian Royal Air Force) in 1978 and is considered the world's first true stealth fighter, entered service.

The project continued secretly for 5 years, and eventually the first mass-produced F-28s entered the EAF inventory in 1990.

The other two prototypes of the TASP project have still not been announced to the press

The secrecy order on the project will be lifted in 2030

When the F-28s first entered production, it was decided that the name of the EAF aircraft would be Dagger.

However, due to the success of F-28s in combat after the 2003 Invasion (42 Aerial kills without any losses), the plane was named Ghoul.

Ghoul (Ga-hal) is a mythological creature unique to Araslam. In the Araslam belief, it is believed that Ga-hal is the enemy of God and commands the army of the devil, so it is the most frequently neutered mythological creature after the devil in the countries dominated by Araslam, and is expressed with hatred in Araslam rituals. is mentioned

The new Arainq government reported Estaria to the C.o.N Humanitarian Court in 2012, but the court decided that the Ghoul name was not an issue.

Operation History

F-28s had their first combat experience during the 2003 Arainq invasion.

In the first days of the war, F-28s tried to ensure air superiority by frequently entering Arainq airspace, relying on their stealth features.

F-28s were even able to shoot down several enemy planes in the Arainq Capital Bagandth, which was considered the city with the best air defense in the world at that time.

Most of the Arainq air defense systems were concentrated in Bagandth, so with the fall of Bagandth, most of the country's air defense systems were disabled.

The Cannard design, which compromised the Stealth capability of the F-28s, brought many Dogfights to the F-28s.

Late in the war, F-28s were tasked with protecting EAF Bombers and Tank Formations.

To intimidate the UFA militants and the Arainq Army retreating to the mountains, the EAF launched a major strategic bombing operation across the Arainq.

Industrial centers and important military points, which were not hit at the beginning of the war because they were too close to civilian settlements, were hit by B-8s and B-22S. The task of protecting these planes was given to F-28s.

Estaria assigned all air superiority missions to F-28s during the Arainq invasion

Although the Estaria bombardments caused a lot of casualties to the civilian population, the Arainq Army agreed to surrender a few months later.
