The CFA-17 Hornet is the product of the Mutant prototype. The Hornet features four more control surfaces to increase pitch maneuverability. The CFA-17 has four underwing hard points in addition to three internal weapon bays. The Hornet is expected to completely replace all ATLAS TF-33 Vanguards with the next decade.

Note: This aircraft has retained the same ECM equipment as the prototype.
