The Boeing 757 is a medium haul midsized narrow body airliner, which is also referred to as the Ferrari of the skies.
The Boeing 757-200 is the most popular 757 (way more popular than it’s larger brother; the 757-300).
The aircraft was offered with both Rolls Royce and Pratt and Whitney engines.
The Boeing 757-200 entered service in 1983.

To improve the efficiency of the 757, blended winglets could be retrofitted to the aircraft, this retrofit adds an additional 3 meters or 9 ft 9 in to the wingspan of the 757.
The retrofitted aircraft are sometimes referred to with a “(w)” behind the type designation, with the “w” standing for: “winglet”.
