* FICTIONAL *

From the prototype Macchi XM-45 italian engineers developed the MACCHI M-46, a revolutionary 6th generation plane that take off, land and cruise like a trainer, very simple to fly, but can transform himself in a hypersonic low-RCS stealth fighter with a simple slider pushed down. The variable sweep wings tied with a retractable vertical stabilizer give at the plane the shape of an arrowhead with the RCS (radar cross section) of a seagull. The speed is increased, agility is maximized and the plane disapear from enemy radars like a ghost. Missiles are inside the fuselage, and extracted only when needed.

* USER MANUAL *

AG1 – Enable/Disable the weapons bay.
AG2/3/4/5 – Missiles
AG7 - Brakechute for emergency (not needed for normal landing)
AG8 – Enable/disable the low RCS mode.

B – wheels brakes
VTOL DOWN + AG1 enabled – Extract missiles
VTOL DOWN + AG8 enabled – Wings will be sweeped backward, the vertical stabilizer will be retracted, and the plane will become extremely speed and agile.
VTOL CENTERED + AG8 enabled – normal flight mode. Disabling AG8 and/or AG1 leave you in the chosen mode, and let you move the VTOL for other controls
VTOL UP – Airbrakes for low speed flight (you can use it also patialized, and with engine on. Need a bit of TRIM)
