F-51 Night Eagle

2,697 SweptBackWing14  6.7 years ago

This fictional plane has been checked with geometry and features a design that would be radar invisible if produced. Indents that would compromize its radar invisibility is only due to the fact that I am relatively new and it has only been 30 days. DESCRIPTION: VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV The Night Eagle is an aircraft designed based on the idea that the US Airforce needs a plane ready to replace the F-22 before it is too late. The Night Eagle is a top of the line stealth fighter you just can't say no to. It is designed in order to deflect incoming radar away from the reciever. The outer layer of the aircraft is covered in a top-secret plastic composite that absorbs low-frequency radar. However, low frequency can still show certain parts of this plane, as its radar absorbant material does not absorb all the waves. It is a huge step up from the F-22 that completely shows up on low frequency radar. Militaries do not use this form of radar because it is large, and innacurate by a whopping 10,000 ft.

I haven't used tracing paper since I was six and have no idea where to find it. Un fortunately. @helilover03

I draw my planes on graph paper, or else it looks a-symetric and terrible, which annoys me and makes me start over. Then there is a type of tracing paper that can be used to transfer to normal paper. @helilover03

I originally was going to design it to stipulations set by the USAF for what a replacement of the F-22 should encompass, but I ran into design problems. For example, The plane was too small to make it with a rudder tucked inside the plane for stability. @Carsong1017

This plane has an aspect ratio of 1.4, while the F-22 has one of 2.4. A lower aspect ratio helps with maneuverability.

This plane has a wing loading of 21.1lbs/square feet.
According to information found on a Lockheed Martin website, the fully loaded wing loading is 99lbs/Square inch!
