Boosted Desert Runner

30 phate118  7.3 years ago
Auto Credit Based on emptybox's Desert Runner

Built off of Emptybox's amazing Desert Runner, I have added VTOL functions for long, sustained jumps. As a backup, I have added two detatchable parachutes that should slow your decent/autocorrect your angle. Also added an extra 2000hp engine and AWD for the lolz! How to run: WASD is control of stering and mid-air orientation. Left and right arrows are your "rudder". Trim is your VTOL jets with VTOL controlling angle. Throttle is the the wheel power. 1 deploys parachutes and 2 releases them. Hope you have fun, and if you can figure out how to boost the rear suspension to 500% this beast will be perfect!

@emptybox I can't use that mod on my Mac as I can't access the necessary folder on my Mac. Looked under /Users/myusername/Library/Application Support/unity.Jundroo.SimplePlanes and couldn't find it. Thanks for the advice though!

you dont need to make the parachutes detachable. as i know they fall of when you hit the button for the parachutes a second time. that would make the look of the vehicle cleaner. i made the front shox by xml modding. it sounds very difficult for a beginner but it is very easy once you get into it. just google some tutorials. once you get in the xml script its pretty much self explaining. just search for shock and there you will find a "spring" setting and a "damper" setting wich you can set as high or as low as you want . nice build keep going :)
