congratulations to all contestants... I have ended the competition... After many weeks I have been testing your planes and have come up with the winners...
First place- maverickvii's Piasecki X-49a... Very good looking, fun to fly and a great concept... Well done
Prize-5, 5star ratings

Seccond place- Zing2000's Grumman X-29... Very nimble, very 'experimental looking' with the colour scheme. Great job!
Prize- 3, 5star ratings

Third place- Thomasjaf's X-15... I love this plane, good handling and design, I think I should have put it higher but the others were very different and unknown to most. Nevertheless well done.
Prize-1, 5star rating

Runners up- TheDocHoliday's XP - 67... Simple but realistic design. Good handling and overall performance... Very good job!
Prize- 1,5 star rating

Very well done by all contestants, hope to see more great designs from all!

Also the YF-17 wasn't designed as a experimental plane... It later became the f-18 because the design was so good. @AGENTCLASSIFIED

I think that that is the thing deterring people from entering... I won't require you to make it a successor... But as a compromise it must be new.@thomasjaf

Alsoi know how you thought that I wanted point, due to asking you to make it a successor. It is not that, it is just easier to see who is entered instead of searching for XP ANE and having a thousand results appear in my screen.@thomasjaf

??????? I organised it because experimental planes are usually wacky and out of this world... I put points there as an incentive for people to do it... And if you think I want points I couldn't care less, I just want some cool planes that run on my device, I already have good simulators on my pic so I am not concerned about the flying, it is just for the amount of fun and good looking that I chose to launch this challenge. @thomasjaf

Yeah so then I don't enter... By the way if you organize challenges only for gaining points, it's not very constructive... @WWIIPlaneBuilder

I know how you feel, when I was making my goblin it kept moving around and flat spinning... It really helps if you look at the CoM and CoT to figure out the problem@planesnthings

You can make it a successor, just make it a sub assembly and put the cockpit of this on it@TheDocHoliday

Seeing as the X-Nomenclature is American, how about other experimental airplanes that didn't have an X in their name?
