DeHawker F-9A Vicious. An outgrowth of the Gemini project, researching high speed twin boom aircraft, the F-9A also incorporates the Foxhunter radar system, capable of detecting fighter sized targets at 35 nm. Stable, fast and capable the F-9 is popular with its Jundroo Air Force (JAC) who often mix it up with F-6s from neighboring airfields during combat exercises. The F-9 has the legs to scramble and intercept enemy aircraft over neighboring islands across the Jundroo Straits, engage in a 2 circle fight and retrun to base (RTB).
