Thumper 2 is the successor of the prototype CP-01SP "Thumper" made by AAE as "Special Purpose CAS" plane. The plane was originally intended as CAS plane with AA and EW capability but after many delays the project got terminated because of financial problems. As the AAE got disbanded the files remain there untouched. As the NSA Military Engineering found the former AAE building they found a interesting files. The CP-01SP "Thumper". They revived the project and refined the design. Sadly they had to sacrifice the AA capability for ground attack.
