The VAC-313 is a subsonic flying wing spy aircraft built by the VDB. Also the VDB’s first flying wing, it flew very high but was designated to launch off larger aircraft. It was not extremely stable, but its unique tailplane helped slightly stabilize it. Another prototype, marked Subject-005, was tested with a shorter wingspan and no vertical stabilizer. It took off after a launch from 48,000 feet but was prone to a vertical spin after extreme manouvers. The VAC-313 was a part of history in the FAAF and other air forces, such as the VAF (Vernil Air Force) and XRAF (Xerira Air Force).
