WW1 Biplane (Vickers and Lewis)

1,284 DouglasCorgi  7.2 years ago

A high speed but highly maneuverable dogfighter, reminiscent of the experimental Martinsyde Buzzard, but with a sesquiplane configuration. The plane is very pleasant to fly, with short take off and agility that matches and even exceeds my triplane design. Armament includes twin Vickers guns and an overwing Lewis. The Vickers Mod is required for this plane, but a vanilla-compatible twin Lewis version can be found here: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/5jw334/WW1-Biplane-Twin-Lewis (The twin Lewis version flies nicely, but this one flies better).
