Auto Credit Based on BOSKnight's Seaplane Challenge!

The Seabear is Epic Engineering's second entry into the Seaplane Challenge by BOSKnight.

(Colour scheme of the pre-production model depicted can differ slightly.)

Background

This is a 1930s-era flying boat that was first conceptualized as part of an internal design exercise. While we were working with the same specifications as a different design bureau, surprisingly, we both ended up with completely different designs.

Design

The Seabear is essentially how we would imagine a kitbash of a Supermarine Walrus and a PBY Catalina, although in our case admittedly the weirder aspects of both planes.
A twin-engine high aspect ratio biplane flying boat that boasts very long range and excellent loitering characteristics.
With a base crew of 5, this aircraft is ideal for fleet shadowing and maritime reconnaissance

Handling

This is a slow plane with a sluggish roll rate. Takeoff speed is at approximately 200km//h, but once airborn the flight is smooth. Bear in mind that the instantaneous turn rate is deceptively high as well.

Instructions

AG3: External Lights
AG4 Landing Lights

As always, we encourage aftermarket upgrades and modifications of this aircraft!
