Thomin T-801 "Rider of the Apocalypse"

Carpet bombing has never been this much fun!

It can be quite a chore to rain fire on a battlefield or to level a city. Not anymore.
With the Rider of the Apocalypse, you can finally enjoy your work again. By simply pulling back the VTOL lever, all 32 (!!!) bombs extend from the massive belly of the T-801 and by activating groups 1, 2, 3, and 4, you can perfectly time the moment you want to bring death and suffering to the world below.

(Don't push the lever beyond the middle position or you'll be at the center of a rather spectacular fireworks in the sky.

Before releasing the bombs, wait until the last set has been fully deployed which may take a couple of seconds.

Terms and conditions may apply.)

Instead of bombs you should put in water/ice skis!

@TheLatentImage same as always I guess. I've built the corpus with its machinery first and now I try to build nose and tail in the most seamless and space efficient manner while trying to keep the overall balance of the final plane in mind.

In short, I have a big corpus and now I want a short nose that doesn't look awkward so that I don't have to compromise too much with my wing design. Although the wings will be another headache I guess. For example, with this plane here, I probably spent more time trying to balance it and adjusting the wings than actually building the central bomb bay or the nose (which admittedly could be better).

@thomin what seems to be the challenge with the successor build?

@TheLatentImage Thanks, I'm currently working on the successor and have Improved upon it. The mechanism will be really cool, I'm currently just struggling to build a plane around it ;)
