Wz-10 is the first independently developed armed helicopter of the PLA Army Air Force. Its service marks the end of the history of the Chinese Army relying on the transformation of the French Dolphin helicopter as an armed helicopter, which enables the PLA to have more powerful anti armour and assault capabilities. In addition, its aerodynamic shape and special coating make it have certain radar stealth ability.
