A play on the P-38F Lightning which was originally by Scottishjocks and which has proven popular within the SP Community. This P-38J Lightning has fuel enhancements hardpoints and uprated engines. P-38Js were famously used as Little Friends by the USAAF in Europe as they could escort bomber formations deep into Occupied Europe from 1943 onwards. However the P-38J also found success in the Pacific Theatre / Theater too because of dogfighting ability and range. By Cowelly.
