The j-8 Birdstrike is a 4th gen aircraft meant to compete against the SU-57 and the upcoming SU-75 checkmate. it has a top speed of 2030 miles per hour and is capable of up to 11 G's of sustained force. it could pull more G's, but the problem is that the pilot would pass out or even die. the jet costs a small 12 million dollars in comparison to the UFTCAF's Budget of 850 billion dollars. The Jet is meant to fight in groups of 10, ambushing any jet or bomber or spy plane it needs to. The jet has claimed 124 kills and 1 down. it has downed 12 SU-57's, and once flew with half of its left wing ripped off and landed. Its 4 missiles are capable of air and ground, and have a range of 9 miles. this jet is every planes nightmare, due to the fact that this jet always flies in big groups. there was once a time where this jet flew in a group of 20, and claimed 2 Su-57's and 1 Su-33. The jet first took flight on July 12, 2005, and is still in service. it is planned to be retired in the year 2060
This photo was taken while a J-8 and an F-15 were in Russian airspace while getting SAM's fired at them, and The back seater of the F-15 snapped a photo of the J-8, which was flying at 1600 miles per hour. The J-8 evaded 3 Sams and completed its mission, before the J-8 was put in a hanger, and is planned to have its next mission in a week. this incident happened around 2-3 weeks ago
