To begin with, I'm going to start organizing my fighters by classes. The first part of the name is the class. The lowest rank is 'D', Which is mainly propellers. Next up is 'C' which is the smaller turbo jets. Then 'B' which is the less powerful turbofans. Then 'A' which is the most powerful turbofan. And lastly 'S' which is vtol.
In the second part of the name, it identifies the approximate top speed. Controls: Standard, comes with wings on a hinge joint (vtol) , AND HAS NIGHT VISION (ag1)
