Tengu T-17 Genkyou – Swept-Wing Fighter Aircraft
The Tengu T-17 Genkyou is a swept-wing fighter aircraft developed by Tengu Industry during the 1960s. Entering service in 1966 after the First Imperial War, it was built to serve in both air combat and strike roles.
Powered by 2 × TEJ-17 afterburning turbofan engines, the Genkyou delivers strong performance with excellent speed and maneuverability. Its swept-wing design gives it stability and effectiveness at high speeds.
Armed with a 50mm IAC50 autocannon and a 75mm IAC75 autocannon mounted on the wing roots, the T-17 packs serious firepower. It also features hardpoints for carrying a wide range of missiles, bombs, and rocket pods.
Notably, the T-17 is also carrier-capable, designed to operate from the Empire’s first aircraft carrier, the Yuriko, making it one of the earliest jet fighters in the Empire with naval adaptability.
Take note that the Aircraft, Brands, and Nations mentioned are all purely fictional created by ViperHMII himself
