The JF-17 Thunder is a multi-role 3.5 generation fighter, CO-developed by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation. The JF-17 was designed and manufactured to replace the aging Mirage III/V and the F-7s of the PAF. Block 1 was released in 2007, having basic features and not being able to stand out in terms of performance compared to that of the F-16A block 15. The block 2 was released in 2015,having BVR and Air-to-air refueling capabilities. The JF-17 has seen combat in the anti-terrorism war in the northern part of waziristan, mainly used for bombing and reconnaissance (With the help of targeting pods). The JF-17 is also used for air-to-air missions, able to carry the PL5E-IIs and the SD-10s. The JF-17 was also inducted into CCS(Combat Commanders School), the elite training program that is regarded as one of the best in the world.
The JF-17's first kills were 2 Mig-21 Bisons on the 27th of February 2019. The block 3 is soon to be released and seen flying on March 2020.

Now let's talk about the aircraft in Simple Planes:
When flying this aircraft, please do make sure to have proper use of rudder and aileron control, especially when making turns since it this version does not have Fly-by-wire, unlike it's real life version. Another thing to be kept in mind is that never fire the cannons when experiencing negative Gs, as the bullets will damage the fuselage, leading to a fire or worse.
AG1: Drag chute
AG8: activate landing gear control / navigation lights
VTOL(when AG8) to control landing gear(push all the way up to retract landing gears and pull it to the center to fully extend landing gears)

Pylon control:

IMPORTANT
When landing, try to make it as smooth as possible. The landing gears I made are quite simple and lack features to absorb the shock. To counter this, approach the runway at about 210 mph and when close to the ground, slowly apply the brakes and keep on gently pulling on the stick. As soon as you land, activate G1 to deploy the drag chutes.
