FT -5 (China code: JJ-5) is a jet fighter trainer developed and produced by Chengdu Aircraft Industry Company (former No.132 Factory) in China in the mid-1960s on the basis of JJ -5A, which is used to replace the Soviet Union UMIG -15 trainer and is an advanced trainer of China Air Force .
