*FULL CREDIT DO DILOPH! A replica of the 1950’s era trainer. The Super Chipmunk is a DHC-1 on steroids. It has an Lycoming IO-540 with 6 cylinder and cranks about 280 HP. The Super Chipmunk is built for General Aerobatics, it can perform an array of manuvers such as hammerheads and rolls. The SC may not be able to compete with modern day aerobatic class aircraft but it is fun to fly! There are 2 performers that I know in the US that fly these in shows Mark Merideth (stole his paint job) and Ghostrider Airshows

I had to make a few tweaks. Taking the original engine off left me with a plane that did backflips... so I used the new cowling (taken off of Hedero’s Fuegrey TR260 build and counteract the backflipping by setting it at 1000 pounds dead weight. Ya’ won’t notice it!
