Auto Credit Based on WalrusAircraft's Mad Max - MAZ Edition

Inspired by Walrusaircraft's Mad Max MAZ Edition. You find a Land Rover Defender, rugged and capable of all terrains, and already comes with a 3.5 V8. With some tampering of the engine and a couple of turbos you've got yourself a road machine fast enough to outrun most mid sized opponents. With the larger wheels, raised exhaust and intake you can pass through rivers...if there were any around. Fitted to the front is an enlarged bumper and to the sides and back defensive spikes, and to top it off two barrels of fuel to power the rear facing flame thrower in case of emergencies.

@AndrewGarrison Yes, I am on iOS, and I don't have the 1.2.13 yet, is it an App Store update?

@DragonKing Are you on iOS? We fixed this in v1.2.13, and we will submit a fix to iOS in a few days.

@AndrewGarrison I noticed as I drove this from Bandit Airport up the hills to the bridge, there was some land missing to get out the bridge. I was wondering if you would be able to fix that.

@mattmck Check out WeeBabySeamus's Big Foot, Walrusaircraft's MAZ or Spiritusraptor's GP vehicles for various other wheel designs

@mattmck Starting with a fuselage block curved and 2 x 2 I put thin rectangular blocks on four points around the circumference. These can be re-sized and will stay in place. Add some more angled pieces to the front and back of each one and you should be nearly done. There should be four notches left in each corner which I filled with triangular fuselage pieces but had to reposition with xml to get them in. If you like, remove the outer spike and grab the wheel by the hub and it can be saved as a component. Even better take off the whole steering axle section which has the overlapped rotator blocks on too.

Looks amazing and I love how smooth the wheels are. Only thing that bugs me is I wish the suspension is a little bouncier

@WalrusAircraft I've made a tweak on my version which you might like to try for more fun. Add a couple of small intakes somewhere to get the engines working at 100% and you should get 40 mph on a flat suface, then set the middle upwards pointing thrust ports to pitch control for an additional boost up to 80 mph. Just be careful of the bumps as they are very unforgiving.

@WalrusAircraft I left out the power as I haven't previously experimented with suspension designs before. I had to study a few other people's designs to get it working but the wheels still break on bumpy ground at the maximum speed so didn't want to make it too fast. Mainly I wanted to create a good looking concept vehicle that was still useable but also realistic. The right hand drive was necessary because of it being a Brit car, I nearly accidently made it left hand drive and switch the controls last minute. I love the "bigger is better" theme, it's true Mad Max style and truely inspired me to make this vehicle. I really hope it starts to trends and other builders join in.

@Authros Jr. here, had a lot of fun with this! Its pretty nimble compared to my death elephant/death tow truck. I guess I was going for a more Russian vehicle, with the "bigger is better" theme.

I love all the little details. I'm not convinced you could outrun me, but you do outclass me in a luxury vehicle ;-)
