Elephant Industries A-46 Grizzly

2,030 ZeElephant  4.2 years ago

An enterprising bid by Elephant Industries for a heavy attack aircraft at the end of World War II. Although no prototypes flew before the end of the war, they were successful in later conflicts despite being propellor driven aircraft. Utilizing four 2250 horsepower Pratt and Whitney R-2800 radial engines and large wings and control surfaces, the A-46 was designed to hit fast and hit hard.

Eight forward firing machine guns and another four 50mm cannon can decimate any target with ease. On top of this firepower, a single hardpoint on the bottom of the fuselage, two large pylons inboard of the engines, and another twelve pylons for rockets or small bombs make the Grizzly a force to be reckoned with.
