The FA-8A was a long rang dogfighter the FA-8B was the bomber variant and the FA-4C and last but not least the FA-8D was a Tanker/multi role variant wich was totally different form its predecessors the A was one seated and was smaller and the B was three seated and had sweepwings and the C was a two seater but was a fighter then tje D was the first multi role fighter with the final design being made in 1984 it had lots of action but was coloured out the picture becuse of the TomCat.
