Hey Guys, long time no see! I have returned with yet another odd aircraft to share, the Blohm and Voss P-170!
The P170 was a proposed "Schnell Bomber" that never really left the stages of being a blueprint. I'm gonna be honest, I don't know what to say about an aircraft that never even left the drawing board apart from the supposed specifications, so I guess I'll go over that!
The P170 would use three BMW 801D or E Radial piston Engines, Delivering around 1800hp per engine. The Overall weight of the aircraft was to be around 13,300kg (29,300lbs). THe P170 had an estimated top speed of 520mph, along with carrying 9000lbs of payload. said payload could consist of the following depending on the configuration...
• 1x SC1000 Bomb.
• 2x SC500 Bombs.
• 4x SC250 Bombs.
• 12 x RZ 65 rockets in 2 separate packs.
Now other than that, I have nothing else to Say apart from that it's weird, DOESN'T HANDLE WELL AT ALL, and that I love it, even if it will have an unplanned intercept with terrain at any moment.

Not entirely sure what I’m looking at... but I like it! Although missing the vertical stabilizer totally threw me off
@TrashpandaShinji by their company's standard, I wouldnt be surprised to see this at all
I have a plane heavily inspired by this in storage actually
The tail looks like a squid.
I'm pretty sure the propwash hitting the outer vertical stabs stabilizes it
@KingVonKilla This is contemporary by BV standards. Search up the Blohm and Voss P.111 if you want some genuinely questionable designs
what did the engineers take before making this
Literally T plane
@dekanii Look through some Blohm and Voss designs. They are beyond absurd, I'm pretty sure half of their aviation stuff is Asymmetrical. And the lack of Vertical stability is very much present on this. It's not stable at all.
absurd, it doesn't even have a vertical stabilizer
im curious by what those German engineers ate to get ideas like this
