DR-33 “Faux Tie”
The DR-33 is a drone platform built off the F/A-33 Puddle Jumper’s airframe, optimized for swarming ground strikes and overwhelming firepower. Designed to fly in tandem with its manned counterpart, the Faux Tie trades pilot systems for raw offensive capability and mass deployment.
Its primary weapons are four fold-out high-velocity cannons concealed in the wing pylons. Once deployed, they unleash a blistering 0.1 rounds per second per cannon. With over 4,000 shots per gun with each round delivering the destructive yield of 100 TNT sticks. Together, they create an unstoppable wall of fire, shredding hardened targets and fortified positions alike.
Backing this up is a tri-beam IR laser system, giving the Faux Tie precision long-range destruction against air, ground, or naval threats. Whether clearing skies or pulverizing defenses, this drone’s arsenal is unmatched for its size.
Cheap to build, highly maneuverable, and easy to operate in bulk, squadrons of Faux Ties can be fielded alongside Puddle Jumpers to overwhelm opponents with sheer numbers. When the cannons fold out, the profile echoes a certain galaxy-far-far-away design, earning it the nickname “Faux Tie.”
So this was a little project I had, these are the original wings from my last plane, but the control surfaces were just a little too chunky on the ailerons. Originally was going to incorporate this Tie Fighter style Canon system, but I realize that I really liked the dynamic yaw controls instead on the other plane so I decided I didn’t wanna to use it on the f/x-33. Now,if anyone wants to use the aircraft for it’s parts feel free like I said this is just a fun throw away plane!
