Pither Monoplane

210 KaruKurokami  3 days ago

NOTE: Trim is necessary to fly level. This slightly minimalist recreation of the Monoplane built by Bert Pithert in New Zealand in 1910. Supposedly he did a short flight in it on a beach, but this was never verified. Currently at least one working replica of this aircraft exists in New Zealand. It used a V-4 engine of Pithert's own design
