The Bakhtiyorov Bah-23 "Verteidiger" is a military helicopter introduced in October 2025 for the Novogermany Luftwaffe. Unlike other attack helicopters from the Bakhtiyorov company, the Bah-23 is a two-seater - the weapons operator is located behind the pilot. This helicopter's cabin is indeed long. But it's not an attack helicopter. The Verteidiger was designed as a helicopter that would provide cover for allied aircraft from enemy aircraft, in particular from other helicopters.

This helicopter is armed with 8 SRM air-to-air missiles. Due to their relatively low speed, these missiles are capable of easily reaching their target in close combat conditions. Almost the entire helicopter was filled with avionics, thanks to which each Bah-23 is capable of detecting a threat at a distance of up to 120 kilometers. If the Bah-23 is in a frontal attack, its missiles can shoot down even a fighter.

But the main armament of this helicopter is two 45-mm twin cannons mounted on a turret, which can aim itself at both ground and air targets. The helicopter's distinctive feature is its ability to reach speeds of up to 420 miles per hour (I checked). With a large fuel reserve, the Bah-23 can stay in the sky for more than 24 hours.
