My most upvoted post, and the first build on my account that has surpassed 100+ downloads and counting. Thank you all for the support.

Hello, and welcome to my build.

This is my first post with a custom screenshot and this is my first build of 2022.

About PNR 900 Class

The PNR 900 class of 1973 are GE Universal Series Diesel-Electric Locomotives in service with the Philippine National Railways.[6] Initially used for long-distance express services throughout Luzon, they were relegated to hauling commuter trains within Metro Manila, a task previously done by PNR's diesel multiple units fleet. This was further exacerbated by the closure of the PNR South Main Line's intercity section in 2012 after an accident in Sariaya, Quezon.

About PNR

The Philippine National Railways (PNR) (Filipino: Pambansang Daang-Bakal ng Pilipinas and Spanish: Ferrocarril Nacional de Filipinas) is a state-owned railway company in the Philippines which operates one commuter rail service between Metro Manila and Laguna, and local services between Sipocot, Naga City and Legazpi City in the Bicol Region. It is an attached agency of the Department of Transportation.

PNR began operations on November 24, 1892, as the Manila Railway Company, during the Spanish colonial period, and later becoming the Manila Railroad Company (MRR) during the American colonial period. It became the Philippine National Railways on June 20, 1964, by virtue of Republic Act No. 4156. PNR used to operate over 1,100 km (684 mi) of route from La Union to the Bicol Region.[3] However, neglect reduced PNR's service. Persistent problems with informal settlers in the 1990s and natural disasters in the 2000s contributed further to PNR's decline. The government is currently in the process of reinvesting in the railway through numerous projects set to revive defunct lines and create new ones.

Creator's Note

This was my idea when I was watching Filipino railfanning videos (the railway I mentioned here is from my country Philippines) on YouTube, then after that I went to SP on my Samsung Galaxy a8 which has battery issues, then for the bogies I grabbed a 6axle i plucked from some user's CC203 lying around in my sub assemblies then started building, I did every detail and amazingly, I finished it after 3-4 hours. Unlike my previous trains I made by myself, this one has a rotatable bogie which enables the train/locomotive to turn like IRL trains. But it's weaknesses are when the locomotive is hauling coaches the last coach before the locomotive when it is at a turn the coach derails and sometimes all the coaches derail too. This can be fixed by leaving the turn quickly, pressing restart here (if the last coach's bogies only derail and not the whole train) and maintaining the speed limit mentioned in the instructions. I made this because to show the SP community especially Filipinos in the community like me about my country's railroad system.

Anyway, this is my first PNR train to post on this site and the first one to be uploaded for the SP community, I plan that in the future that I will post more replicas of PNR rolling stock+rolling stock from other commuter rail systems in Metro Manila alongside Country RP builds and other non-RP content. But however, that may not be frequent because of personal and family matters, managing my 4 Discord servers, and academic requirements.
Also I forgot to mention that I became a part of the filipino railfan community and became interested in railways, rail travel and trains

    Okay. But, thanks for considering.

    2.2 years ago
  • Profile image

@FloridianTrainMan ok I'll consider that but it maybe hard to build that since steam locomotives have lots of detail so I'll need a blueprint for that

Can you make a PNR steam locomotive. Like the dagupan or 100 class
