To retract/deploy motor: press 1 -> drag the VTOL bar all the way back -> press 1 again, to deploy again press 1 drag the Vtol bar to neutral and press 1 again.
To activate the flaps press 2 and drag the VTOL bar to the desired position, press 2 again to deactivate.
I reccomend to turn off the engine before retracting because it causes heavy spins which are really hard to recover from.
