The Mitsubishi A6M Rei-sen (Zero) is a Japanese fighter aircraft used by the Japanese Empire during the Second World War. It serves as a backbone of fighter force of the Navy, and favorable performance made the type superior in the early stages of the Pacific War until the arrival of the Grumman F6F and the Thach weave maneuver against the type. It continued to be used after 1945 in small-scale.
