Another five minute build (that took more than five minutes), Is the Avro 696 Shackleton AEW.2. This aircraft was developed fom the Avro 694 Lincoln, itself a development of the Avro 683 Lancaster, as a Maritime Patrol aircraft, becoming superceded by the Hawker Siddeley Nimrod. A few aircraft were modified for the Airborne Early Warning Role, before being superceded by the Boeing E-3 Sentry.
