History & Info
The Hansa Brandenburg CC was a flying boat fighter designed by Ernst Heinkel (yes, that Heinkel) that entered service in 1916, primarily used by the Austro-Hungarian navy.
The CC was notable for using the unusual "star strutter" wing strut layout, which had also been used on the Hansa Brandenburg D.I and KDW (the floatplane version of the D.I)
Power was provided by a 185hp Austro-Daimler 6, giving a max top speed of 175km/h. Armament consisted of one or two MG08 machine guns mounted forward on the hull
Flying
Everything is relatively straightforward.
It should be noted however that the aircraft can enter an uncontrolled spin if you pitch down too hard in certain conditions. To recover from the spin, cut the throttle and wait until the spinning slows down. The aircraft should naturally point down in a steep dive with some input against the spin, allowing you to pull out and stabilise.
Notes
This is my first proper replica of a ww1 aircraft as well as my first flying boat. It was also the last thing I built in 2025. Unfortunately the different sources and pictures of this aircraft pretty much all disagree on several of its features, so it's probably not terribly accurate, but oh well. I had to keep the cockpit fairly basic since there was no info on that at all.

@Ericshideout Thanks! And I definitely could add that one. If anything it's probably easier than the 1910 Deperdussin because of the more streamlined fuselage.
I'm throwing in some quicker/simpler projects to keep up my motivation while I tackle big challenges like the Russky Vityaz
Beautiful build once again! I see you plan to build the Deperdussin Monoplane, I was hoping you could follow that with the 1912 Racing Monoplane?
