F-15EJX Kai+ Imuwashi
NATO Enemy Reporting Name: Futile-C

As mentioned in the previous Kai Eagle post, the Sakura empire was not only able to recover schematics for the F-15A and the STOL/MTD program. But the Strike Eagle concept plans as well, and they were able to make with that a separate variant of the F-15J Kai+, the variant so elegantly named, the "Sea Eagle" or Imuwashi.

The Futile as NATO Refers to it as, is a modification of the Kai Eagle+, with help from the Iron Blood military industry giant, Reinmetall, which has been fitted with their finest imitation Eagle Union hardware.

As it stands, only 9 of the 45 aircraft ordered have been made due to resource and import restrictions, these aircraft have been given to a very infamous squadron of the Sakura Imperial Air Corps, Youkai-Sentai, who were most noteably involved in the Japanese Invation of Pakistan and Thailand.

Originally there was going to be a hypersonic superweapon made specifically for the Youkai Sentai, a missile called the Nue Hyper-Velocity Kinetic Kill Vehicle that could cruise into space, and later come down on targets. I even make a diagram, shown here.

• Yes, this is the plane from Patlabor 2, except it doesnt have the body mounted missile pods.

• No loadout selection for this aircraft unfortunately. However, I did make two custom bombs unique to the JASDF, the Type-91 GCS-1

• The text behind the right air inlet read something along the lines of "All will bow before the Emperor."

• I had made this plane quite awhile ago as a modification to the og Kai Eagle+ because I thought it might be cool to see what a strike version might look like.

• To any nerds who might wonder how I made the right canard function despite the gun being there, both canards work via pulley, and the right canard has its pulley socket moved back to compensate for the gun.
