this is my first ever replica of a plane, anyway here some history about this plane. The plane is known as the Yakovlev Yak-1. The Yak one was a Soviet fighter aircraft of World War 2. the Yak-1 was a single seat monoplane with a wing design made of wood. the production started in 1940, the Plane was good for low altitudes of below 4000 meter (which is 1300 feet) which made it good for taking out ground targets. the Plane later retired in 1950. this model i made without the guns just because i didn't feel like going through the trouble of finding the right place to put the guns.
