the xm990 is a classically-stocked, polymer-framed straight-pull bolt-action rifle designed to disable small vehicles (and people) at range that feeds from 5-round aluminum box magazines, 7-round aluminum box magazines, 10-round titanium field box magazines, or integrated 5-round magazines (shown here)
additionally, special vehicle mounts for the lrws (shown here) were made for remote vehicles and light vehicles such as scout-configuration HMMWVs
