"There are a lot of people who say that bombing can never win a war. Well, my answer to that is that is has never been tried yet and we shall see. They sowed the wind and now they are going to reap the whirlwind." - Air Marshal Harris, 1942

"They were the heroes of the cold, warrior soul, they signed the book of history, they played a leading role, to win the Second War." -Sabaton

Lore

The D-65 Graff (Grief in English) is the most advanced bomber of the Ostenian Airforce. Armed with 6 Mk. 8 Bombs, and 5 HMGs mounted around the plane, the bomber can not only drop ordinance, but can also defend itself and other fellow bombers. The bomber was created for infrastructure bombing with a single aircraft being capable of leveling a 5 block of homes when fully loaded with Mk. 8 bombs.

The "Spiere" or spear in English is an Ostenian D-65 bomber that is part of the 4th Aerial Bombing Squad. During an air raid, the "Spiere" decided to create history, after being hit by a flak in engine 3 forcing the two pilots Lewis Carnhigan, and Müller Rotterheim to decrease the aircrafts altitude. The bomber was attacked by the Entente 28th Fighter Squadron heavily damaging the bomber, but at the cost of the entire fighter squadron's annihilation by the "Spiere"s crew.

The first image of the "Spiere" was taken at the Freulan Airforce Base after the "Spiere" was fully repaired and was sent back into service.

The second image was taken when the "Spiere" was assigned to the 4th Aerial Bombing Squad.

The final image is a D-65 leveling an entire Entente outpost being used as a fire support base.
