About

After 2020, the US Navy began retiring its aging fleet of Greyhound carrier-based transport aircraft. Their replacement? The versatile yet limited V-22 Osprey. While capable in many roles, the Osprey fell short in range, payload capacity, and cruising speed for the Navy's growing needs.

Recognizing these limitations, the Navy called for a competition to design the next-generation carrier transport aircraft. After a rigorous evaluation of concepts from leading aerospace firms, it was Win's Wings Aviation’s innovative Greyhound II design that emerged victorious. This new aircraft promised to combine the reliability of its predecessor with cutting-edge performance, ensuring the Navy’s logistical capabilities remained unmatched.

Conventional take off and landing take a bit of getting used to (I would have wished for flaps and air brakes) but otherwise quit a nice plane with lots of details. I love it
