The founder of the brand, Valentino Olivera, had a wealthy family, with his father being an oil tycoon. with economic assistance by his father, Valentino founded a factory where they produced a car to compete in the first F1 Grand Prix.
The car was pretty bulky compared to the others, while also having an underpowered engine, so it didnt go well for the team in that season.
