The RDT-1(Reconnaissance Drone Test 1) was a test bed for a new high tech camera built by Bandit Tech in 1959. The camera featured auto tracking which was believed to make it useful for reconnaissance on small moving targets. The drone was not adapted into service because it was a one time use vehicle and there were already several designs competing against it which were able to be reused.
