The S-1035 Were turret is a high-stealth gun turret designed as the main armament for the planned corvette FFL-145 Weller-Lebrem.
It is equipped with the AF/AAMG-35 35mm autocannon, which delivers exceptional performance against aerial targets, small craft, and drones, enabling highly accurate firing capabilities.

What is "AF/AAMG-35"?

An anti-air autocannon that uses 35mm×228 ammunition.
Rather than being a successor, it was designed as a replacement to offer superior anti-air capabilities compared to both general-purpose 40mm and 25mm autocannons.

Initially, it was only capable of firing a specialized anti-air round called the Hi-VT round, which bursts near the target into multiple sub-projectiles. However, from the A variant onward, it was improved to also support SAPHEI (Semi-Armor Piercing High Explosive Incendiary) rounds.

Although it was originally designed to replace the 40mm general-purpose autocannon, its roughly 30% higher anti-air performance and lighter weight led to it being treated as a consolidated successor to both 40mm and 25mm systems.

In particular, for warning shots against suspicious vessels or fast attack boats, it has earned nicknames like "Wall Knocker" and "Debt Collector." This refers to the use of Hi-VT rounds detonated just in front of the target, with fragments that embed into the hull without penetrating, serving as a strong warning.

Today, it is used as the main gun on corvettes, in a CIWS-like role on larger ships, and in ground-based configurations such as self-propelled anti-aircraft guns and towed anti-aircraft systems.
