P-47D

Why upload 2 P-47's in a row? Because i couldn't stop tinkering and because the only thing better than one Thunderbolt is two Thunderbolts. More than just a repaint of my P-47N, this model includes the "razorback" cockpit used on earlier P-47D's. Also I removed the fuel tanks from inside the wings (An addition on the later P-47N to extend range). Again, Full aft pitch for takeoff (aft trim helps a little). Level flight at about 340 MPH with no trim. Dogfight, Strafe some convoys, heck, go escort some B-17's!

@Booster456 Early P-47D's left the factory with the old "razorback" configuration. they began modifying existing aircraft with the much more advantageous bubble canopy in 1943. Thanks for the comment and upvoat!
