Hello

This is my first build using blueprints, so it may seem a little empty, but better things will come in the future.

Here's a little history:

In 1953, the B-57 Canberra entered service into the USAF as a tactical bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. It was the first jet powered bomber used in combat by the United States, and was used extensively during the Vietnam War.

The B-57 was used to great effect by the Pakistani Air Force in the Indo-Pakistani Wars of 1965 and 1971. And was used by many other nations to build up their air capabilities.

The B-57 was the first jet aircraft to perform a nonstop flight across the Atlantic Ocean, and had many variants over its long career.

The B-57 was retired in 1983 by the USAF and was replaced by better aircraft shortly after. NASA still uses 3 of the planes for experimental purposes.

There are still some B-57's being used around the world, and serving their purpose well.

My build:

As you can see, I tried to recreate the B-57 in SimplePlanes! I would say it looks really good, its flies well, and its even pretty close to actual size!

This planes can fly about 700mph, can take off and land easy, has enough fuel to last a long time, and has 6 M117 bombs (Average bomb the B-57 used).

I went for historical coloring and placement of parts. Think of this as a v1.0, because Ill probably upgrade this in the future.

Sorry, no video this time :(
