VTOL Experience Sea-44 "Northern lights"

108k Kerbango  8.5 years ago

VTOL powered sea plane.
Land and water take off and landing.
This plane is truly Rick!
Take off: VTOL all the way Down for forward. At 130 mph pull pitch back and tap VTOL up a touch. Then back down. It is a little wobbly until 200 mph.
Water landing should be as slow as possible but you probably won't break up even at full speed.
If you flip upside down in the water just full throttle and push pitch up. Then cut power and you will flip upright. Then same procedure for normal takeoff.
Gear up always in water.
Armed with 4 boom 50's, 4 inferno, 2 rocket pods, 2 mini guns, 2 wing guns.
Have fun.
Does a nice slow hover when deploying weapons.
