Overview

You are a head of design bureau in the early 1930s making a plane divided into four categories: fighter, transport, bomber and racer aircraft using the Curtiss V-1570 Conqueror engine.

  • Can be real or fictional.
  • Should be 1930's plane.
  • Should not have any jets or missiles.
  • Tricycle gear not allowed.

  • Plus points if there is a functional cockpit.

Categories:

Fighter (Category A)
Bomber (Category B)
Transport (Category C)

Scoring system

I pursue performance, not popularity. However, upvotes can be considered as extra points. Categories A, and B will be graded based on the Speed, Precision and Strength doctrine. Category C will be graded on her speed and reliability, and Category D will be graded with the speed doctrine.

Conclusion of Event

Category A (fighter): Winner will be automatically procured for service.
Category B (bomber): Winner will be automatically procured.
Category C (transport): nah. A hug will do.
Category D (racer): Trophy (unlisted build).

Guys, the aircraft you should build is of 1920s and 1930s design. It's in the rules.

I will start testing aircraft staring Friday June 17.
Note that ALL AIRCRAFT WILL RECIEVE A REDESIGN.
That's hard work, but it would be paid out if all things are finished. *wink

    1. Prop size: You can. Large ones are recommended for Cat B and C (bomber and transport).
    2. Prop pitch: Variable props appears in 1933 (I think)
    3. Prop count: 1,2,3,4,6,8. But if you are talking about the blades, 2,3,4 baldes only.

@Kittyhawk208 If the engine isn't the one I asked, I can still edit the aircraft by heart, not to disqualify it.
