XF-4000

The more-or-less impossible to use XF-4000 never left the drawing board. It is an extremely exagerrated extension of the F-104's "missile with a man in it" philosophy. If you can actually manage to get a target in your sights, you'll zoom past it before you can acquire a lock. In order to remain stable, you have to either do hard maneuvers or keep spinning.
