The Mercedes-Benz G4 W31 was created in 1933, originally designed as an offroad staff car. However, due to it's high weight and low top speed (42mph), it was better suited to parading and making a grand entrance to the toughest POW camp in Germany. Only 57 were ever produced, and only 3 cars have survived to this day, one of which is General Burkhalter's car in Hogan's Heroes.
